Lateral Police Officer
The Board of Police Commissioners for the Village of Plainfield is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. This opening is limited to candidates who are presently certified police officers through the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board, or through an equivalent certifying agency in another state, and who meet the requirements for lateral transfer consideration.
The starting salary is commensurate with years of service, with a maximum starting salary of $98,812. Interested candidates are encouraged to review the full job description for additional details. Candidates who successfully complete the interview process will be placed on an eligibility roster for up to two years.
